Club Competition Information 27th May

Hi All,

Please see the following information to help you prepare for the forth coming club competition.


Start time

Please note that our inhouse club competition on Saturday 27th of May will start at 12.30

Please can all gymnast taking part arrive at 12.00 noon and report to Holly for registration.

You will then be asked to go to the squash court to leave your belongings and be given information as to where to line up for the walk on.

Opening ceremony will start at 12.40 pm


Parents Note

Please send your child/children in the correct attire as detailed below, please also ensure they have had a light snack before in the morning so they are not hungry.

Please send children with a named bag to place there things, with a drink of water in a sealed plastic bottle with with there name on the front of the bottle.

Please can you make sure that all clothing they wear is named in case of anything left behind. Do not send any electronic gadgets phones or tablets.

It is the responsibility of Parents to ensure the safety of such items that are not needed for the event.


We plan to finish around 4.00 pm

Please note

Younger recreational gymnasts will perform first, followed with a short medal presentation

at approximately 2.00 pm. Everyone is welcome to stay and watch the rest of the competition, or leave if you have other plans.

Older gymnasts and all those preparing for the National Development pathway Semi Finals competition in June, will then perform from 2.00 pm onwards. This will be followed by the final medal presentation.


Spectator fees £4.00 per person children under 6 years free

Spectators can access the hall from 12.20 pm to be seated, children under the age of 6 years old enter free but must be supervised at all times.

Refreshments will be available in the reception, please note all food must be consumed in the reception area. For health and safety reasons hot and cold drinks can be consumed in the sports hall, however all drinks must have lids on them at all times when you are not drinking them please.


Competition attire (What gymnasts need to wear)

All recreational gymnasts please wear as follows

Girls

Leotard (Don't worry if you do not have one yet)

Black shorts or long leggings

White or Burgundy club T Shirt

White socks or Trampoline shoes if you have them

Long hair must be up in a bun and braided across the front of the hair from left to right.

A black scrunchy around the bun please, (hair must be secure and sprayed)

All Jewellery removed

Boys

Leotard (Don't worry if you do not have one yet)

Black shorts

White or burgundy club T Shirt

White socks or Trampoline shoes

Hair neat and gelled in place.


Male and Female Squad Gymnasts

Club leotard and shorts

White socks or Trampoline shoes

Full club tracksuit with polo shirts in black

Hair for girls bun & braided (Gold scrunchie please)

Hair for boys gelled and neat


Presentations

Medals will be awarded for 1st 2nd & 3rd placings

Participation medals will be awarded to runners up

Most improved award

Excellence award


All proceeds from the event will help fund on going certifications for coaches & new judges
