INFORMATION FOR PARENTS FOR THE CLUB COMPETITION ON SUNDAY 9th FEBRUARY 2020
Venue
The club competition will be held at Francis Scaife Sports Centre on Sunday the 9th Feb 2020
Entry Fee
The entry fee for each individual is £10 please pay your fee into the club entry fee account Acc no 82802777 sort code 60-16-35 please reference the payment with your name followed by the word club comp.
Deadline
Please pay £10 no later than 20th Jan 2020 deadline.
Spectator Fee
There will be a spectator fee on the door of £3 each with under 5 are free but must be supervised.
Start Time
the competition will be starting at 1.00 pm with our Elite competitors first for everyone to enjoy followed by our NDP Competitors mixed in with our recreational members.
Finish Time
we anticipate the competition to be finished around 4.00 pm following the medal ceremony.
Safety
Please note for the safety of all the competitors flash photography is not allowed, please only video your own children.
Food and Beverage
You can purchase drinks from the centre vending machines, please ensure you consume them in the reception to avoid any unnecessary spillages, Please feel free to try some of our lovely baking at reasonable prices all funds going towards ongoing new equipment, coaching courses and supporting gymnasts who have made it on to England and Great Britain Squads.
Club Uniform Items
we shall also be selling the new club Hoodies as well as boys & girls training leotards, limited sizes in stock but can re order.
The amount of money we raise from this event will be matched by the Barclays matched funding very kindly organised by Sara Midgley our club fund raising officer.
The Purpose of this event
To demonstrate to all, the great work Phoenix High Flyers and its team do on a weekly basis
To offer our recreational members a chance to compete in a competition, to demonstrate the good work done by the gymnasts along with support from our dedicated coaches.
To promote essential competition confidence building for our National development pathway gymnasts at all levels from grade 1 to grade 6, whilst preparing for the compulsory finals.
To put in place a controlled event for our Elite level competitors to demonstrate required set and voluntary routines with high difficulty prior to performing in there qualification rounds on the National circuit, hopefully leading to the English and British Championships.
To raise funds to help our amazing club thrive to be the best it can be
