Georgia Iredale

I joined Kandy’s club when I was 6 years old because I had far too much energy and needed some structure and discipline. Little did we know that this club would become my entire life and some of my dearest friendships in my life today would come from it.

My Story

I trained on average 5 days a week doing gymnastics, sports aerobics, cheer dance and eventually trampolining (with some DMT in there too!) and competed all around the world creating the most incredible memories and bonds. This club allowed me to escape from bullying at school and other personal stresses in my life and gave me a new focus and purpose which I became exceptionally dedicated to.

Throughout my 12-year journey as a competitor and coach at the club, I’ve had some great achievements with achieving 1st place at an international competition in Portugal and placing 2nd at my final British Championships being two of my favourites. Aside from all this, this club shaped me into the person I am today; I learnt resilience, dedication, time-management, positive thinking, hard work and most importantly to be happy.

To this day, Kandy is always at the other end of the phone when I need her and us girls, who grew up together in this club, continue to support each other in our adult lives, reuniting at special events such as Kandy and Andrew’s vow renewal, where we laughed and reminisced as if no time had passed.

Now, I am completing my master's degree in teaching English as a foreign language, further developing my passion for inspiring and teaching young people that I developed since I began coaching trampolining at just 14 years old. Throughout university I have also been part of my uni competitive cheerleading team, feeding my love for being part of a strong team, working hard to reach our goals.

This club will forever have a huge piece of my heart
